© 2019 Pacific Island Tourism Representation

It's a family affair at Pacific Island Tourism Representation.

Jemma and Jenny-Lee were inspired by their great uncle who lived and worked on the remote island of Ha'apai in the Kingdom of Tonga in the 1920’s. Almost one hundred years later Jenny-Lee followed in his footsteps when she took on the role as Marketing Manager for Tourism Tonga.

There began the dream to develop a business focused on assisting Pacific island businesses to better reach their target markets in Australia, New Zealand and other key source

Jemma (Niece) and Jenny-Lee (Aunty) have decided to embark upon a partnership to bring this vision to life and make a difference doing what they love within a region they are passionate about and have a strong connection with.

Jenny-Lee Scharnboeck   PITR Co-Founder

"I love inspiring and creating amazing experiences for visitors, ensuring they have fantastic fun holidays. An avid paddler I’m quick to track down traditional outrigger canoes and would love to see this age-old craft return to the Pacific. I'm passionate about sustainable tourism, maintaining heritage, creating jobs and empowering locals to be amazing tour guides and storytellers. Let’s question the status quo and take the Pacific to market in a new way – increasing  yield, visitation and jobs."
